Things that have been Awfully Grand the past week:

• seeing pictures of my friend's brand new puppy. Puppies rule!
  
• the most wonderful weather! Is it really January?
  
• finding the coat of my dreams.
  
• I'm halfway through a cleanse and feeling awesome! TMI?
  
• Butter.
• Watching my daughter master walking, now running.
• the Delfonics
• Pilates!
• hanging out with friends who totally accept each and every inch of you.
  

The Awfully Lame list includes:

• Bored to Death being cancelled on HBO. Ted Danson was illuminating on that show!
  
• paper cuts
  
• being delighted that family comes to visit but understanding it means not getting a single bit of work done until they depart.
  
• realizing I have not had a babysitter for even an hour since the week before Christmas.
  
• getting a ticket for parking in a red zone that did not exist when you left your scooter, but was painted while you were gone.
