Makeshift Society is a clubhouse for creatives. Founded by our favorite boss lady Rena Tom, with support from interior designer and blogger extraordinaire Victoria Smith and designer and creative director Suzanne Shade, Makeshift is bound to be THE place to inspire. Offering shared workspace, a rich catalogue of classes, a library, loft, and bikes to pedal your way to that much needed cup of coffee, Makeshift provides the fertile ground for San Francisco creatives to mingle, meet and collaborate.
What we love most about the Makeshift Society is that behind every part of its mission is the idea that we get farther together. Sharing ideas, helping each other, meeting each other and pushing ideas forward is how creatives are going to take over this city. We are so much stronger when we put ourselves out there, together.
A few notes of interest:
Makeshift is accepting donations for the library. Design books, art, photog, craft, DIY, novels, reference, business, you name it.
Classes start October 2 and you can sign up NOW!
Membership is a grand idea and there are many ways to be involved.
Head on over to SF Girl by Bay & Rena Tom.net for great photos of the space. Lookin good ladies!
Hope to see you all there soon.
Happy Monday!
